A lot of people get pain in the arches and heels of their feet after they exercise and in every day life. It can be pretty debilitating and make it really, really hard to get excited about moving your body! And we definitely want to be moving our bodies in order to clear our skin.
So by request, I have made a video to show you some simple foot moves and stretches that can strengthen your feet and hopefully relieve some of that achey foot syndrome.

Do your poor little footsies feel the burn after a workout?

Hey Tracy!
I have a question that’s completely unrelated to this post, but I guess it’s easier for you to access a comment on a recent post than on an older one. I’m currently on the candida cleanse, and two days ago I purchased a liver detox at whole foods from the brand Gaia herbs (http://www.gaiaherbs.com/products/detail/44/Liver-Health-) which contained similar ingredients to the ones you mentioned Liv Tox had. Got home, re read the ingredients, and realized it contains soy lechitin, and now I’m a a little bit paranoid, cause I was staying away from soy, like you recommended. Do you think it it safe to take? It sounds like a great supplement, but now I’m in doubt :/
Hi Celeste! You know… I know I’ve researched that before, but I can’t remember the answer right now…. so I’m going to do a video or a post about that soon okay? Thanks!
Thanks for the video Tracy. I’ve always had foot troubles, which I think I inherited from my father. When I used to run cross-country, I had severe arch and heel pain that nearly caused me to quit. As a result, I now have a pair of prescription orthotics that I’ve limped along on for YEARS. While they’ve helped a little (I can run again) my feet are still pretty weak. Then I started reading your blog and about Primal living. The barefoot idea actually kinda disturbed me at first; it sounded painful, but then I started thinking about it more and decided it made sense.
Did you know that I have NEVER been able to point my toes? Just watching this video makes me jealous of your foot-dexterity. Now I’m determined to start barefooting and exercising my feet until I can point my toes!!!
Thanks for the inspiration
I’m sorry you’ve had such terrible foot troubles!! Good luck with your tootsie transformation Anna 🙂
This is helpful! I should do this the next time my feet ache after a run. (P.S. Your feet look awesome! How much time do you spend
barefoot?)
