Oh wow, such a great story and message here! I’m so pleased that you said there is more to life than diet and skin… I sometimes forget that. You really made me smile and I’m so happy. Your’e right; you CAN’T get enough of the love vitamins 😀
Thanks Tracy, you give so much love to everything you do and we all love you for it.
Nathan
Cutest post yet 🙂 You looked good in that video, but I think you look extra vital and naturally glowing in your “now” video – with far less makeup. Yay, Tracy!
Thanks Jenna! I don’t know why I have so much makeup on this video though haha… I’ve never actually worn eye shadow on any regular basis, even back then
Thanx for sharing that and I appreciate you sharing your vitamin L…
<3
This was great Tracy! Almost brought a tear to my eye for some reason. I’ve been pretty down lately and I think I needed to be reminded of how important the LOVE vitamin is. 😉 I had actually always wondered why you call your sight this but never thought to ask! Thanks again for this message today, just what I needed! xo
Awesome post! Exactly what I needed <3
Question – Svea reccommended orris root powder (among other things) as a cleanser.
I researched it a bit and discovered that it is an anti-inflammatory but I couldn't find much more.
What are your thoughts on using orris root powder for this purpose?
How do you recommend I use it?
Thank you so much! Your website/ebook have totally changed my life!!
Thanks Eliza!
Unfortunately I don’t know anything about Orris root powder, but Svea just emailed me and let me know she has a new guest article for us about natural face wash alternatives, so maybe she’ll talk about it there, or you can ask her on the comments when it gets posted
Does Svea have a website or something? She responded to a comment of mine on one of your posts so I don’t really know.
Thanks! 🙂
No, she doesn’t…. she should have one though!!! She’s full of helpful information!
Oh okay, thanks so much!
I just wanted to really say how much you’ve changed my life!
This is ULTRA cheesy but I’m still going to say it lol.
I’ve struggled with depression since last year and was feeling very down-trodden and awful. Then, in January, I discovered your website and youtube channel and began researching a bit and reading all your posts. I bought your e-book and decided to completely change my life around and integrate all your suggestions into it. Since January, I feel SO much better. I have energy, more concentration, a good body image. I’m doing SO well and am hoping to get off anti-depressants soon because of how good I feel. All thanks to you! People think I’m super weird for all the stuff I do (ahem, consuming raw liver, shunning shampoo and commercial products) but I love it a lot. So, thank you! Thank you very much! (I’m 15 by the bay) 🙂
Wow, perfect timing. I’m battling a disease called endometriosis more then i am acne right now. (though there’s some of that going on too)
I read your posts because you are smart and thorough. I have learned sooo much about healing this disease naturally which was very hard with all the contradictory vague information out there. I now know what i have to do to get better. My mood has elevated amazingly this last week. My anxiety i’ve suffered from most of my life has reduced, i feel energetic and motivated, the constant headaches and fatigue have gone. I’M HEALING! I feel so excited i’m bursting out of my skin. Now i’m just waiting for my pelvis to follow and stop hurting which i’m sure it will.
With this surge of excitement i have this somewhat ‘overload’ feeling. Like i just want to learn everything i can as quick as i can, and i have to tell everyone! So, this was a good reminder to slow down and love whats happening now. I’m healing at my own pace and that’s okay.
Thanks!
Hi Ruby,
That’s brutal you’ve been suffering with endo, but I’m so happy that you’ve got some hope back!!
I assume you may have come across this blog about healing endometriosis naturally from a cool lady named Melissa, but if not: http://www.cureendometriosis.com/
Hey Tracy and thanks for the mention 🙂 Great to have a fellow natural healing pioneer!
You have such a wonderful spirit – I love watching your videos! I need to do more of those but we are in spain at the moment with limited internet so might have to wait on those 🙂
Love your work!
Mel
Dope! So many people who obsess about the nuances of health need to hear that. gives me a broader appreciation for your perspective. As a Trauma Nurse I/ cant work unless i get my daily dose of vitamin L 🙂 Another vitamin L could be liver i dug your liver video but find the best way to eat is is by making jerky out of it. season it with sea salt , spices and dehydrate it.
love and light!
Rewild yourself
That’s a reeeeally good idea for the liver… I’m totally doing that!
Beautiful, Tracy! (And thanks for the book rec)
Gotta go get me some more sources of vitamin L. And worry less. Way, way less.
Love to everyone! Hope you all get plenty!
I couldn’t help but smile through this whole video! You just made my day, thanks.
Thank you for sharring that, I think it was the perfect timing to post that kind of video… Sometimes we are simply obsessed by diet and other natural stuff that we forget the most important. I’m fallowing your blog for a long time even if i was not commenting before since I was not able to write in english 😛 It’s just a great back to basics and I totally needed that 😉 thanks!
Oh and I just purchased your e-book 🙂 FINNALLY!
I hope you enjoy it Noemie! 🙂
Hi! This was such a cute video – the power of love really is amazing! I discovered your blog a few months ago when I had a sudden bout of pretty severe acne on my chin (because of hormones and stress) and I had googled “meditation for acne”…before reading your site I had no real idea that you could clear your skin through a holistic approach! I learned so much from you, and have successfully quit b.p and s.a.and have been using the manuka honey and jojoba oil you recommend – along with some minor changes in my diet and lifestyle – and voila! My skin completely cleared up! A few days ago a stranger on the subway even told me that I had beautiful skin! Thank you so much for all the wonderful information – I love your site!!
xo, Emily
Wow, that’s fantastic Emily! I’m so happy for you 🙂
My boyfriend calls me his “love vitamin”. I think you can take that as a big compliment! 😉
What holistic nutrition course did you take, Tracy? Who was it through? I’m thinking of going to Bastyr for Nutrition, just need the $$$!
By the way, just wanna say I bought your book (like, in February) and as an ex-vegan I am proud to announce that I’m currently roasting (an organic, free-range) chicken for the first time ever 🙂 Though there was more than one involuntary scream (it has a neck! that flails about!) Thanks for the tips. Adorable video. Much love!!!
The one I took was the registered holistic nutritionist program with the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition.
Also, good job with the chicken – hope it wasn’t too traumatizing! And that it tasted good! 🙂
