In my video a few days ago, I discussed why you should be staying away from bad fats. So today I bring you the the elusive flip side!

There is a few things I forgot to mention in the video. Sometimes when I’m talking away, it’s easy to forget a point or two and then think ‘darnit!’.

First one is that you can also get Omega 3s (DHA and EPA) from eggs in which the chicken has been fed flaxseeds. It will tell you on the package of eggs if it contains Omega 3s. Cows and other animals that have been fed their natural diet of grass also contain Omega 3s in their meat.

Secondly, if you can’t afford grass fed meat and flax fed eggs, and you’re worried about fish contamination (or you just don’t like or eat fish and meat), make sure you’re taking a high quality fish oil supplement. You can click here to pick up a good one on Amazon.
