Happy Birthday Tracy! Today is a VERY special day!! It is my one year primal anniversary AND your birthday?! How cool is that?! I think I remember this being said in one of our e-mails.
I never drank a sip of alcohol until I got out of college. Then I started to drink a little. I got drunk a few times and had a lot of fun but overall I never really liked it. It can be good for social reasons but one does not have to drink in order to be social. You just have to be yourself 😉
I now drink wine every once in a while. But, I never pay for it – only sometimes at a restaurant. If someone pays for a glass of wine for me then I will gratefully enjoy it.
P.S.I will answer your e-mail soon – I promise! I am just VERY overwhelmed as I am still working at my full time job. But, my last day is this Friday 😉
You are looking great by the way! Keep up the fantastic work!!
Happy one year Primal b-day, Toad! Haha I’ve noticed every time you mention when you went Primal, I think ‘yaaaa! That’s by birthday!’. Anyway, thanks for the well wishes!
Happy Birthday Tracy! I’ve been reading your blog and watching your videos for awhile now and really like what you have done with your website 🙂
Thank you so much, Josh! I had a wonderful day 🙂 I had delicious Lebanese food for lunch and watched Life is Beautiful
Ooh that sounds pretty tasty! And I remember when that Roberto Benigni guy won the academy award for that movie and he’s was jumping all around everywhere lol. 🙂
what about smoking? ofcourse it’s bad but can it cause acne?
Well, I don’t know if it has any direct link (neither does alcohol), but the same thing… just really bad for your overall health when done often, and anything that contributes to poor health can contribute to acne in a kind of roundabout way. I think smoking cigarettes is probably worse though!
Maja, I heard that cigarettes can suppress Vitamin A absorption. Since Vitamin A is good for skin, among other thing, it would make sense that cigarettes are indirectly bad for your skin.
I guess that’s why they say cigarettes make you look older.
I should have clarified that a bit better. Nicotine (which is found in cigarettes) screws with Vitamin A. Not just the cigarettes themselves. So I would imagine that even nicotine gum or patches would be bad for your skin.
I recently found your blog and I think it’s great! I love how honest you are in your videos. I had a bad case of adult cystic acne for the past two years and after visiting several gynecologists and dermatologist who were ready to put me on pills (which I refused to do), I did a lot of research and thankfully was able to clear up naturally. I’m really glad that there are people out there sharing their advice on this because if it weren’t for blogs like this I probably would still be hiding in my bedroom. Keep it up 🙂
Awesome Amanda, that’s really cool that you managed to shun doctors and get clear naturally! Way to go! I agree, blogs like mine also helped me so much that I would probably also be hiding my head without them… that’s why I wanted to make another one and share my story! When it comes to this, I say it’s more the merrier for inspiration!
What about gluten in beer?
