You’re probably wondering by now some of the details of what I did to get clear. What kind of diet did I have? What were my tribulations? What pushed me over the edge into the clear skin zone? I can’t go into all the details in a ten minute video, but I address some of these things here:

Hey!
I read about your story in a forum and then discovered this website on acne.org. I think you’re doing such an amazing job and I agree with all you say about controlling food as a way to control emotions. I’ve been struggling with acne since I was 12 (I’m 25 right now) and it’s only been a few months since I started to search a way to cure it holistically. And I’m having that sensation of trying to control everything around and freak out if you’re not going to be able to follow your strict routine of herbs, supplements, food and water… And it’s not nice. So I hope I will find the way to manage this without going nuts. My face is doing quite well now, but still very oily and with some spots here and there. But I know I’m on the right path.
So, see you around and thank you very much for sharing your experience! You look SO beautiful now by the way, congratulations!
Marina.
PS: I’m Spanish, so forgive me if I make any mistake in English.
Hi Marina!
Thanks so much for taking the time to look around my website. I really appreciate it!
The whole urge to be ultra controlling over your diet out of fear is a huge issue when it comes to those desperately trying to clear acne. It’s such an easy trap to fall into! I definitely think it stems from self esteem issues – if we address these problems, we become less fearful of a perceived outcome (food causes acne, or acne coming back, a few spots), and we are better able to relax and let our healthy diets work for us. The better your emotional health, the more effective diet changes will be. It’s kind of paradoxical so it’s definitely a tricky path., But if you are always working towards more self knowledge and becoming aware of how you are feeling and acting in regards to your acne and your new healthy lifestyle, you will grow immensely as a person. You’ll be happy that you undertook this beautiful experience and become a new, stronger person!
I’ll be posting more in the future about all of these things, especially emotions, I’m just trying to lay the groundwork right now with my articles, so stay tuned!
Much love xox

Thanks! Yes, the search for the cure is a very exhausting search… I`m so happy you managed to get it under control! It`s such a relief.
Im in love with you gurl after watching this!!!!
I trust and believe what you you are saying so much. 🙂 A question i would love to know whether you know anything about is how do you think accutane manages to cure acne? I.e. how it stops stress and emotions causing future breakouts?
🙂
I think accutane physically does something to your pores so that they can’t produce oil or something. Medication never deals with the root of the problem, it just interrupts the process of forming acne at some point in the production line. Since stress and emotions are part of the underlying cause, accutane really has nothing to do with that, just like it has nothing to do with your diet or any other facet of health. It only treats the symptom (which is acne), but the cause (diet, emotions etc) continue beneath the surface, until the medication fails and you get acne again. This is why I think that people who take Accutane and have their acne come back afterward are most likely to be the people who have acne due to deep emotional roots.
